Removed existing shark-bite water service valve and installed new copper press valve using specialized press tool. Due to limited access and inability to use traditional copper sweat connection methods with water present in the line, press fitting technology was required to complete the installation. Valve replacement successfully restored proper water service control.

Completed comprehensive preventive maintenance on two Daikin ductless systems: a mini-split AC unit (cooling only, installed 2021) and a heat pump system (installed 2018). Responded to no cooling complaint on Daikin ductless mini-split system installed in 2018. Three indoor air handler units on second and third floors were operating in fan mode only with no heating or cooling capability. Found filter causing airflow problems and short cycling system

Did a routine checkup on a 11 year old Concord natural gas furnace. System running properly. Blower capacitor is reading low, recommend replacing. One of the spade plug was a little loose, tightened connection. Flue pipe was missing some screws, added them. Mild dust buildup on blower wheel. Moderate buildup on flame sensor, cleaned it. Combustion readings are good. Electrical readings (except capacitor) are normal. Temperature split good.

Performed a routine maintenance on a Columbia oil boiler. There was exhaust coming out of the draft regulator. Chimney seems to be partially blocked, recommended having a chimney specialist check on the chimney. Otherwise, boiler was operating properly.

No heat call on a Gree mini split. System was low on refrigerant. Got them back up and running.

Furnace inspection

Completed service on oil boiler that wan’t heating a zone properly. Bled radiator and worked valve to break up any dirt that may be trapped in the valve. Verified proper and safe operation of the system after work was completed.
