Completed comprehensive air conditioning maintenance check on system that was overdue for service following an emergency call from earlier in the season. Inspected attic-mounted HVAC blower unit, ductwork connections, PVC condensate drainage system, and electrical wiring throughout the installation. Verified proper airflow through system and checked filter status, bringing replacement 18x19x1 filter as backup. Proceeded to outdoor condensing unit where electrical diagnostics were performed using clamp meter, recording amp draw of 6.3 amps at the compressor. Inspected capacitor connections, contactor operation, and all electrical terminations at outdoor disconnect. System operating within normal parameters upon completion of tune-up.

Water softener recheck

Responded to no-ignition issue on Bradford White gas water heater with Defender Safety System that was recently installed. Unit displayed diagnostic fault codes with red light blinking 8 times followed by 4 times, indicating gas valve failure after homeowner had turned unit off while away. Replaced defective gas control valve assembly and restored unit to proper operation. Verified proper gas flow through yellow flex line, confirmed blue-handled shutoff valve operation, and tested ignition sequence. Unit now firing correctly with all safety systems functioning as designed.

Completed comprehensive preventive maintenance inspection on Rheem heat pump system installed in 2016. Performed cooling season tune-up including inspection of control board, electrical connections, capacitors, and wiring harnesses. All gas valve leak repairs were successfully completed as part of the service scope. Inspected and verified proper operation of condensate pump assembly and drainage system with associated PVC piping and electrical connections. All system components found to be functioning within normal operating parameters upon completion of maintenance procedures.

Completed new installation of Hague WaterMAX BEQ 2 water softener system in basement utility area, including piping up to 10 feet, all necessary connections, and salt delivery. Performed installation recheck and system verification of previously installed Moyer Comfort series air conditioning unit and gas furnace to ensure proper operation. Provided rebate packet with instructions for completion and submission, and collected outstanding balance prior to service completion.

Responded to emergency call for water line leak supplying toilet that could not be shut off, with water leaking through wall or ceiling causing significant water damage. Upon arrival, assessed the situation and located the source of the leak in the water supply line. Shut off the main water supply to stop active flooding. Repaired the failed water line connection to the toilet. Tested the repair to confirm no further leakage. Due to the extent of water intrusion through the wall and ceiling, recommended restoration services to address water damage and prevent potential mold growth.

Responded to no-heat call on Trane natural gas furnace experiencing delayed ignition and short cycling. Inspection revealed failing blower motor with visible copper windings and dust accumulation. Replaced motor assembly and verified proper ignition sequence and continuous operation, restoring normal heating function.

Successfully installed a Daikin MXM Ductless Heat Pump system serving two rooms (son's bedroom 11'x13' and office 14'4"x14'6", both with 8' ceilings). System includes 12-year parts and labor warranty and Gold Comfort Partner Membership for one year.

Did an AC check on a 7 year old Lennox Elite heat pump, System running well. Capacitor was beginning to fail, had lost ~30% of capacity. Replaced with new one and tested for proper operation. Outdoor coil had moderate buildup on the coils, cleaned.

Zone valve head had failed on a propane boiler.

Replaced section of trunk duct that had been soaked from a leak. Also replaced a piercing valve with a quarter turn valve and an expansion tank for the water heater.

Completed system safety check on Daikin Furnace that had a hazy smoke being emitted from the system when heating was first turned on. Verified all numbers in and around the system were per the legal and manufacturer recommended ranges. I installed a Fleck 5600SXT water softener for a customer experiencing hard water issues. I connected the softener to the home’s main water line and programmed the system for automatic regeneration cycles. After testing, the water softener reduced mineral buildup and improved water quality throughout the house.

Yesterday, I diagnosed and repaired an issue with a Lennox gas furnace and Trane air conditioning unit. The system was not turning on properly. I found a faulty ignitor in the furnace and replaced it with a genuine Lennox Hot Surface Ignitor. I also cleaned the condenser coils and checked refrigerant levels, restoring full HVAC functionality.

Water heater repair service call. Customer's water heater was no longer producing much hot water; discovered that it's thermostat had failed and needed to be replaced. Issue is now resolved.

Air conditioning tune-up service call. Performed full AC maintenance checklist on customer’s 5-year-old Trane system. Unit is in excellent shape. Signed customer up for Customer Partner Plan.

Leak detection service call. Customer had a leak somewhere in their bathroom plumbing that was causing water stains on the ceiling. Located and repaired the leak.
