Responded to service call for 17-year-old natural gas furnace with reported high-pitched noise during operation. Upon inspection, found worn blower motor bearings causing noise; verified burner assembly functioning properly with normal flame pattern and no signs of heat exchanger issues. System is running well. Changed filter. Adjusted the lockout temperatures for the backup heat, removed heat pump lockout, lowered backup heat lockout to 20°. This will make it so the heat pump takes more of the load at lower temperatures. Electrical readings are normal and connections are secure. Temperature split is good. Humidifier is operating correctly.

Went to a no cooling call for a 26 year old R22 system. Found that the unit was low on charge, causing the coil to ice up.

Cleaned and serviced 2 year old Lennox air conditioner. System is clean and in good running condition.

Did a routine checkup on a 9 year old Rheem heat pump. System is running well and in good condition.

No heat call on a Crown boiler. Burner was not igniting, and boiler was leaking in 2 places on arrival. Air vent had failed and was leaking, replaced with new. Several bolts on the domestic coil were leaking, tightened them up and leaking stopped. Found that the nozzle had become clogged and was preventing proper combustion, replaced. System now running properly.

Completed system service on Carrier furnace that wasn’t heating. Reset all safety devices and system started heating properly.

I came out to a home for a no heat call. The Lennox furnace was going off on high limit. I found that the filter was restricting air flow. I replaced the filter and the furnace started working again.

Performed a tune-up on a carrier natural gas furnace. Gas manifold pressure was a little low, used combustion analysis to adjust to proper setting. System is running well and in good condition.
