# Indoor Air Quality System Installation

Successfully installed two indoor air quality enhancement devices on existing HVAC system: REME HALO air purification unit and Micro Guard filtration system. Both units were mounted within the main supply plenum and integrated with the existing ductwork to provide whole-home air treatment. Electrical connections were made to the air handler's control board, with proper wire routing and securing to prevent interference with blower operation.

Installed whole-system surge protection device at the electrical service panel to safeguard HVAC equipment from voltage spikes and power surges. Device was wired in accordance with manufacturer specifications and local electrical code requirements. Digital display confirmed proper voltage reading of 125.8V, indicating normal operation and active protection status.

All installations were completed in the mechanical room area. Access panels were secured following installation, and system was tested for prop

Fogelsville, PA - Received a service call about a leaking water line valve near a Lennox XP25 heat pump system. Upon inspection, identified that the 3/4" brass ball valve on the condensate drain line was slowly dripping even when fully closed, likely due to internal seal failure. I shut off the water supply, disconnected the old valve, cleaned the threads, and installed a new lead-free ball valve using approved thread sealant.

While onsite, I also conducted routine preventative maintenance on the Lennox heat pump. Cleaned outdoor condenser coils, checked refrigerant pressure, and measured 20°F temperature split across the indoor air handler. Replaced air filters, inspected electrical connections, and tested all operational modes. Added a few ounces of refrigerant to bring subcooling within range per specifications. The condensate drain repair resolved the leak issue, and the heat pump system is now running efficiently after the seasonal tune-up service.
