Responded to no heat call on Franklin heat pump installed 1/2018 where thermostat was set to 69° but house temperature was 57°. Diagnosed Carlin control module displaying "POWER FAULT" and "Lockout 14 Hr" errors. Reset system and verified proper operation of both heat pump and auxiliary oil heat. System now maintaining proper temperature.

Inspected burner assembly which showed significant debris accumulation in lower ports. Used UEi EM201B pressure meter to verify proper gas pressure readings. Cleaned burner assembly ports and verified proper system operation with no error codes present.

Found that the oil pump is leaking along the shaft seal, which is not field repairable. Recommended replacing pump. Replaced leaking oil pump. Set to 100 PSI. Used a combustion analyzer to confirm proper burning. Straightened out the flue, as it was pitched incorrectly. Blower motor bearings are squeaking, recommend oiling the bearings. The flame observation door is sealing poorly.
